Keep the Fire Burning
Dental CE for Kansas City: Keep your Passion for Dentistry Burning Bright
If you’re passionate about dentistry, you’ll keep your enthusiasm burning bright by attending dental education courses that take you to the next level – helping you become a better dentist.
“I have personally attended the Pankey Institute in Florida and often travel for training to the Chicago Midwinter Meeting, the American Dental Association Annual Meeting, and others,” said Doug Schulz, DDS, “It keeps the fire burning. And with today’s rapidly advancing dental technology – like CEREC and digital work flows, CBCT imaging, implant dentistry ̶̶ there’s always more to learn.”
But for Midwest dental professionals, it can take a full day of travel just to get to your CE destination, then, it’s a full day back. If you’re gone for three or four days and take staff along, it turns into a significant investment in both time and finances (and let’s not even talk about the hassle of flying).
“I wanted to create a facility dedicated to dental continuing education to our area. We do get some good dental CE courses here in the Kansas City area, but many are held in hotel meeting rooms, or classrooms that are unequipped. I wanted to build a facility where dentists could learn hands-on with the latest and greatest equipment. It’s difficult to find that type of dental continuing education experience anywhere in the Midwest. So, I decided to make it,” says Doug Schulz, DDS.
The facility is designed specifically for dental continuing education (CE) with the latest technology, including CEREC, 3D x-ray imaging, surgical suite, lecture hall and operatories. It is conveniently located for dentists in the greater Kansas City area, and it’s a doable drive for folks from any of the five surrounding Midwest states (Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa) where the dental CE options are not as abundant as they are in other areas of the country.
“We are going to bring as many high-quality educational offerings as we can to the area including a full range of CEREC and dental implant courses, digital orthodontics, digital dentures, sleep dentistry, and more,” added Schulz.
